An internal renovation opened up the kitchen, living and dining spaces, making room for a generous dining table and a more natural flow between the three areas. New skylights bring light into the heart of the home, while a new connection to the outdoors extends the sense of openness.

The custom pink concrete island is the centrepiece of the kitchen. Made by Snap Concrete in a colour chosen for the project, it adds warmth and character without overwhelming the room. Boston Oak joinery balances the pink with natural timber tones, while Marrone Renaissance marble splashback tiles from Surface Gallery add texture and subtle variation. Together, the materials create a kitchen that feels playful yet refined. In the living area, a new fireplace gives the open-plan space a cosy place to gather.

The result is a welcoming home designed for both everyday living and a full dining table—confident in its use of colour and thoughtfully arranged to bring people together.
